Fear
When we experience fear, we can respond in one of two ways. We can let go (the useful choice). Or, we can twist and contort, doing everything we can to avoid feeling that fear (unsuccessfully I might add).
Crazily enough, we’ve decided that avoiding and ignoring the fear is the way to go, the strategy of choice. Consequently, we have to walk on eggshells all the time and try and control everything so that the stuff out there that triggers our fear never gets triggered. But of course it does and then we get to experience the same fear over and over and over.
The alternative here is to view life as our ally. Life surrounds us with situations and people that stimulate growth and that show us where we need to let go in order to truly be free. The stuff now becomes an opportunity to let go.
Feel the fear and then let it go!
Much love,
Jonathan
