Compensation and Value

We are compensated to the extent that we own our value. And, most people have some work to do on owning their value and seeing what value they bring to the world.

Also, sometimes we don’t recognize the true value of our gifts and talents. They are invisible to us like water to the fish.

Here’s an exercise that could be quite useful: Answer this question as many ways as you possibly can – What value do I bring to the world? Then ask a handful of friends to answer that too.

What we are aiming at here is to get to the point where you can say, “Wow! I’m a pretty awesome gift to the world!” and totally own that.
