When the numbers are down
Traditional sales tell us that when our numbers are down, we need to step up our activity. We need to step up our doing.
Traditional life strategies tell us that when things are not going the way we want; we need to do more. We need to step up our doing.
Now certainly there are times when we need to step up our doing. However, in many (if not most) of these situations, what we really want to do is to step up our being.
For example ~ if I don’t believe that I am worthy of success, more activity simply will not produce greater results. I’m already up against my glass ceiling. Plus, the not worthy story makes it really hard to be in action. So then trying to be in even greater action will most likely just bring up massive resistance.
First I need to upgrade my story about my self-worth. Once I’ve upgraded my being, then I’ll probably naturally step up my doing, or my doing will become far more effective.
