Most people have quite a bit of repressed worry. People in general have a habit of worrying. Some of it you might be aware of and some of it is pushed pretty deep into the shadows.
I invite you to be really honest and vulnerable with yourself and feel that worry ~ worry that:
- The money will stop coming in
- My business won’t succeed
- I’m doing it wrong
- The other shoe will drop
- I don’t belong
- It isn’t going to work
- I’m not okay
- I’m not loved or lovable
- There’s not enough
- Etc . . .
Even if the worry is repressed, it is extremely toxic. It decreases vitality, enthusiasm, confidence, optimism, energy, and enjoyment of life. It makes us less magnetic to our good and invites far more of what we do not want into our lives. It increases our resistance to getting into action.
Those are some pretty serious consequences for a little (nasty) habit that we don’t even pay that much attention to.
Maybe it is time to start paying attention to this habit and then change it. There is absolutely zero benefit to worrying and some pretty huge negative consequences.
As long as those worries are in place, we are going to be in our own way. So, if any of those worries stuck a chord with you – it is time to go to the personal growth gym and do some letting go! (Don’t know what I mean by the personal growth gym ~ www.jonathanmanske.com/
