Let’s start with a lie
I listened to a voice mail this morning. The message started out with a lie.
She said that I had been referred to her and that if I was interested in a program that would generate thousands of dollars of income ~ and that’s when I hung up.
Of course I hadn’t been referred to her and she (the auto-dialer system) never addressed me by name.
As soon as I heard that lie, I felt my resistance go way up. If you have to lie to sell your product, you should get a different product to represent
This is the kind of crap that gives sales a bad name.
Sales can be a beautiful thing where we can help others to become better off, where we can serve and make a difference. This old school crap of lying, pressuring, and deceiving just needs to go away. There’s a much better way.
As consumers, we need a zero tolerance policy for bad selling. If they are pressuring, lying, or deceiving just walk away and give your business to someone who treats you well.
Much Love,
