Insanity
Einstein said that doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result is insanity. If we want things to be different, we either need to do something different or we need to be someone different.
That’s where my favorite question, “Based on these results, what must I believe?” comes into play. This question allows us to see what we need to upgrade in order for us to be someone different.
For example, if all of my prospects are saying “no” then it would be insane to keep on doing things the way I’m doing them.
If I then ask myself, “Based on these results, what must I believe?” I will uncover some head trash like: I’m not ready. I don’t deserve to succeed. I don’t have value to offer. I’m too expensive. People don’t want or need what I have. And so on.
With this (or these) lousy story in place, my prospects will keep on saying “no” and I will become more and more discouraged and frustrated.
However, as soon as I do the work to upgrade my lousy story, my results will change.
Much Love,
