I often hear people say that they feel guilty if they take any downtime or that they don’t give themselves permission to have downtime, to relax, or to play.
There is time for relaxation, play, and fun (and a time for hard work)! Otherwise, what’s the point?
Whenever we say something like this, it is clear that we have confused busyness with productivity.
Without downtime, burn out is inevitable. When we are tired or burnt out, our productivity decreases dramatically, our creativity decreases, our ability to process info decreases, our energy and enthusiasm decrease, and our magnetism decreases too. It becomes impossible to do good work or to attract the results you want.
This situation calls for a reworking of our business (and life) plans. We need to make being refreshed and happy top priorities because they are precursors to success and to effectiveness.
How does your business plan change when being refreshed is an essential part of the plan?
Bonus: When out playing or relaxing, intend that the more you enjoy yourself, the more it grows your business. How? ~ That’s God’s job.
Much Love,
