You Have Already Arrived
People live so much of their lives thinking that they have not arrived yet – but that they will arrive when they are (fill in the blank) more successful, wealthier, skinnier, happier, etc.
This is a lousy life strategy. First of all it creates a lot of suffering. “I’m not okay because I have not arrived yet but I will be okay when I arrive.” Secondly, even when we do arrive, we just switch the destination so that we are still in that “I have not arrived yet” state and the suffering continues.
So here’s an alternative: What if you have already arrived! And now, you just get to play.
The illusionary journey is to get to Disney World. But, you are already there so enjoy the rides.
If you are trapped in the illusionary journey, then the ups and downs, twists and turns, and surprises of the rides are a problem, a cause for alarm, and a concern.
If you realize that you are already at Disney World then all that stuff is fun and you get to enjoy the rides.
When we get out of head trash and illusion, we clearly see that there is nowhere to get to, nothing to prove, and much to be entertained by.
Much Love,
