These Things Really Do Work
I ran into a friend tonight at a holiday party. I hadn’t seen him in years. He told me a great story.
A few years ago he was in a rough place. A stranger was deliberately nice to him. After pondering this, he decided that he would commit to doing one random act of kindness every day.
He now makes it a point to do five random acts of kindness every day. He says that this practice has completely changed his life. (And, I believe it after seeing his passion and excitement in telling me this story.)
We know (I hope) that things like random acts of kindness, a practice of gratitude, uplifting someone in our circle of connections, and things like that are life changers. They really do work.
The question is: Are we actually doing them? Knowing about them and doing them are two very different things!
Just for fun, do you want to commit to doing one random act of kindness every day for the rest of the year and see what happens?
Much Love,
