Taking ourselves for granted 
Does anyone enjoy being taken for granted? Of course not!
So, why do we take ourselves for granted so often?
What would happen if we started appreciating ourselves more? What would happen if we started to give ourselves credit for the things we have gotten done instead of discounting them and focusing on what we did not get done? What would happen if we acknowledged our amazingness? What would happen if we encouraged and supported ourselves? What if we appreciated the effort even when the results aren’t what we want?
What if we start treating ourselves with respect and kindness?
Taking anyone for granted is never a good life strategy – and that includes ourselves.
