I imagine that somewhere along the line you have looked into a fun house mirror ~ one of those mirrors that totally distorts your reflection and makes your body look ridiculously out of proportion.
When you do this, you don’t believe what you see. You know it is a distortion. You know it is a lie.
But we have all kinds of distorted ways of seeing ourselves ~ I’m not good enough, I’m not worthy, I’m not important, I am not capable, I’m not one of the big dogs, I’m not loved, I don’t deserve to succeed, etc. And instead of seeing these view points as the lies that they are, we believe that they are the truth.
Bad things happen when we believe that these lies are the truth.
It is time to stop believing the lies!
