Reaching out when we don’t want to

So often we don’t reach out for support at those very times that we need it the most.
When this happens, we are believing some lousy story in our heads – things like: I don’t want to be an inconvenience, it would be embarrassing if people knew what was going on with me, I’m ashamed of myself, I shouldn’t need help, etc.
Those times that we don’t want to reach out for support are the times that we need to realize that we are believing a lousy lie. Then we need to reach out anyway even though we don’t feel like it.
Much Love,
Jonathan
