Insight into action
We can have insight all day long but if we don’t put it into action. . .
The more volume of action we have, the more chances we have to hit home runs.
Even the great creative geniuses were a volume play.
Inventor, Thomas Edison, accumulated 2,332 patents worldwide for his inventions. But only a handful of those were truly memorable.
Pablo Picasso was extremely prolific. It is estimated that he produced 50,000 pieces ~ 1885 paintings, 1228 sculptures, 2880 ceramics, roughly 12,000 drawings, many thousands of prints, and numerous tapestries and rugs. Only a small percentage of these were his home runs.
Beethoven is one of the most famous and influential of all composer. He produced 722 larger and smaller compositions. Again, only a handful of these were his home runs.
And on and on. Volume is a factor. We must turn those insights into action. The more at bats we have, the greater our chance to hit a home run.
How often do we get an inspiration, or an intuition, or a God whisper and then fail to get into action around it? What if we did get in action around it?
Much Love
