Hurt or Happy

Hurt or Happy
I recently talked to a guy who clearly would rather be hurt than happy. His happiness is 100% contingent on the person who hurt him changing. In effect, he is saying that the only possible way he can be happy is if that other person changes.
Consequently, he is stuck in suffering.
Are there any areas in our lives where we are doing this, where we are being a victim to our circumstances rather than the chooser in our lives?
Regardless of the circumstances, we can choose happiness, peace, and a great life!

Much Love,
Jonathan
