Double up or double down

Double up or double down
When we support someone, lift them up, give recognition and appreciation, acknowledge their accomplishments, success, and efforts – we end up lifting ourselves up too.
And, the opposite of this is true too. When we bring someone else down, we bring ourselves down too. Sure, there can be a buzz from criticizing someone or gossiping or . . . but ultimately that stuff brings us down. It depresses our immune systems, makes our brains work less effectively, and has us be far less magnetic to our good. It also makes it far more likely that we will harshly judge ourselves rather than love ourselves.
Much Love,
Jonathan
