Criticism vs. appreciation

Criticism vs. appreciationCriticism vs. appreciation

It does not take any more effort to look for things to appreciate in others than it does to look for things to criticize. However, most people are far more willing to criticize than they are to appreciate. It is their habit.

Criticism comes with a cost that most people are oblivious to. It is impossible for anyone to criticize without bringing his or her own energy down.

When our energy is down, our brains don’t work as well, we are more apathetic and lethargic, whatever action we do manage to take is less effective than it could be, and we are less magnetic to our goods.

For our own sakes, we are far better off by appreciating rather than criticizing

Try this for a day ~ intentionally look for something to appreciate about every person you meet. If you like the results, you could keep doing it until it becomes your new habit.

Much Love,
