Adjustments
“Fishing like life is a series of adjustments.” ~ Kurt Jacobson
That’s what my friend, Kurt, said to me this morning as we were standing in the Kenai River. I had caught a few and was also having lots of action. Meanwhile Kurt, who is undoubtedly a more skilled fisherman than I am, had absolutely nothing going on and was fishing from his 3rd different spot.
Those roles were reversed last night. I was the one making adjustments and not even touching a fish while Kurt was on fire. My daughter, Sabine, a total newbie, was also touching fish. She even caught her first salmon.
This reminds me of the wonderful old saying ~ if what you are doing isn’t working, try anything else.
When we aren’t willing to adjust, we stay stuck.
Much Love,
