Unbridled Joy
We went to Water World and rode water rides for about 7 hours. When my daughter is excited, she talks. She jabbered for about 7 hours straight yesterday.
It is quite obvious that her capacity to experience excitement and joy is much higher than mine. I had fun. She had more fun.
This is true for most adults. Over time we have learned to close our hearts down and not experience too much joy, excitement, or enthusiasm.
However, this strategy does not improve the quality of our lives.
What stories are you telling yourself that close down your heart – that diminish your capacity to experience joy and excitement? Who would you be without those stories? And, what would your life look like?
Much Love,
