They are Who They Are
I’ve written before about how we don’t have to like people to love them. But (at least for me) this can be an easy trap to fall into.
It is nobody’s job to make sure Jonathan Manske is happy or to make sure things are done the way Jonathan likes them. And these are not good reasons for me to not love people.
Here’s the thing we miss about not loving people ~ we pay a steep price for not loving people. I cannot be grumpy or judgmental or upset and be happy at the same time. Those things cannot exist in the same space. So, the quality of my existence takes a hit whenever I choose that path. It also negatively impacts our immune systems. And it makes us far less magnetic to good.
That’s a lot of costs.
Much Love,
Jonathan
