The straight path, the winding path
This morning I had an appointment in an area of town that I was not familiar with so I used my GPS to get me there.
I left it on for the drive home. The whole drive home, the GPS kept doing its job trying to get me back to my original destination. I heard, “Make a legal U-turn” many times and a whole bunch of other suggestions.
Never once did my GPS threaten to quit or ask me what my problem was. It just kept trying to get me there.
So often people experience fear, worry, and stress about making the wrong decision. However, if our lives are falling together, if we do live in a friendly world, if we really do matter to God, if our good is trying to find us – then even if we do make a “wrong turn” things will recalibrate to get us to where we were meant to be.
No matter how far off track we get, we can still get there. And, sooner or later we do have to start listening and doing the right things.
So whether we are on the straight path or the winding path – our lives are falling together, our good is looking for us, God does have a plan, and we can have an amazing life.
Much Love,
