Take the upgrade (version 2) 
Imagine that you are an army general and your troops win a big battle. Of course, there was a huge cost to this.
Then imagine abandoning that newly won territory and then having the same battle again a week later to reclaim that territory.
That would be really bad strategy.
Well, it is also really bad strategy when we abandon the upgraded perspective, the aha, the insight, etc. that allows us to do better and live better. Then we have to fight that same battle again to reclaim the territory we already claimed.
Hang on to those upgrades!
