Putting Out Fires vs. Taking Care of Business
We will have stuff come up in our lives – the flat tires, the appliances that need replacing, the sick kid who rearranges your schedule, unforeseen urgencies that demand time, attention, and resources . . .
These things will happen. But, we get to choose how we respond to them. If we view them as a problem, or an inconvenience, or a hassle or . . . we will probably end up drained with our momentum derailed. They will have a big impact. If we view them as “no big deal” or even an interesting challenge to solve, then their impact will be minimized.
Are we putting out fires, or are we simply taking care of business?
Much Love,
Jonathan
