Believing our own thinking
What would happen if we started to believe our own thinking less often?
So much of our thinking is about limitation, reasons why not, self-doubt, and self-flagellation. Usually when we catch other people thinking that way, we know that it is garbage but then when it is our own thinking, we believe it. And in believing it, we imprison ourselves.
All we need to do is inject a smidgen of doubt – What if it is not that way? What if that is not accurate? What if that is not true? And in doing this, we create freedom and peace and new possibility.
Bob Marley said it well, “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.”
Much Love,
Jonathan
