A Life Well Lived
When people want to get clear about what is really important to them, or what their big why is, I often tell them to imagine that they are a ghost at their own memorial service. What kinds of things do you want to hear people saying about you? Then live your life in such a way that those are the things people say.
I experienced a real-life example of this today at the memorial for my friend, Ted. Person after person shared how Ted had helped them – with their health, and to become a better person. The love, respect, appreciation, and gratitude that was expressed was awesome. Ted was a difference maker who transformed many lives!
One young lady shared that Ted had such a powerful impact on her life that when she grows up she wants to be Dr. Ted. She is starting chiropractic school in the fall to follow in his footsteps.
If Ted’s ghost was there today, he has to still be smiling and feeling the satisfaction that comes from being the kind of man who makes a difference, who makes this world a better place.
Well done Ted! You will be missed tremendously.
Much Love,
Jonathan
