3 days of rain 

Imagine thinking that it is 100% certain that it will rain today because it has rained the last 3 days. Imagine thinking that it is 100% certain that it will be over 90 today because it has been for the last week.

We wouldn’t be certain because we know that the weather changes and that yesterday’s weather does not determine what today’s weather is going to be like.

However, when it comes to ourselves, we tend to think that the past determines our future. Although 3 days of hot weather does not prove that today is going to be hot, 3 prospects saying no does seem to prove that finding business is hard.

What if we leave yesterday where it belongs (in the past) and instead get curious about what we can create today.

In a certain way, amnesia would be a blessing because we would forget our self-imposed limitations.
