Perpetually Chased by Wild Dogs
Imagine being constantly chased by wild dogs. It would be exhausting and nerve wracking
Metaphorically, this is how most people do life. They are running around trying to prove that they are good enough, trying to prove that they are okay. It is exhausting and nerve wracking.
It is also completely unnecessary. It is about as useful as if I spent great amounts of time trying to convince people that I have a right arm – even when they have already acknowledged that I have a right arm.
What if we are already okay! What if there’s nothing we need to prove! What if we were born okay – or even amazing!
If we let go of needing to prove, then we could relax and breathe and go after life with ease and joy.
Much Love,
Jonathan
