My whole persona has changed and I am not the person my friends once knew. I have the ability and freedom to introduce myself to any group or person, and carry on a conversation freely without fear. I have spoken in front of groups since then, and I don’t have the paralyzing fear that, without fail, gripped me when faced with public speaking. I can smile and speak and laugh without the fear that I’m not fitting into the right form, and without caring what ” they ” think of me, because I know who I am and that I am a great person to know and that I am a valuable part of this wonderful interaction of souls we call society. No more apologies for taking up my space in this world and free to expect my fair share, if you please, of what this world has to offer each one of us.
