A matter of focus

A matter of focus
It seems pretty simple – focus on what we want instead of what we don’t want.
However, people tend to spend a lot of time focusing on what they don’t want which creates stress, heaviness, anxiety, discouragement, tiredness, overwhelm, burnout, unhappiness and…
Knowing what we do not want is very useful information. But, it is not a good stopping point in the thinking process. Instead, we need to take the next step and ask ourselves, “Well, what do I want?”
For example: “I don’t want to fight with my significant other.” Well, what do I want? “I want harmony and connection.”
Once I am clear about what I do want then I can take steps to start to create that.
Much Love,
Jonathan
