Proactive self defense

Proactive self defense
If we know we are going to be in an environment or situation that has a high likelihood of being unpleasant or even hostile, then proactive self defense is a wise move.
In the days before hand:
  • Send love repeatedly to all the parties involved.
  • Pray for them.
  • Set clear intentions for a positive outcome.
  • And, if poor behavior seems likely, have a plan on how to respond to that rather than being blindsided by it.
During:
  • Remember your poor behavior response plan and use it.
  • Intentionally fill your mind with good stuff ~ gratitude, compassion, prayer, etc.
  • Remind yourself that you don’t have to take any of it personally and that you are okay regardless of what is going on.
Much Love,
Jonathan
