Entitled to their opinion

Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion – even if we don’t agree with it. A differing opinion doesn’t mean that other person is stupid, wrong, or a troll.

People often forget this. And, it seems to be getting worse with the ramp up to the presidential race.

Here’s the other thing. It is literally impossible for us to think poorly of another person and keep our own hearts open.

When our hearts close, all kinds of bad things happen: Our brains work slower, less creatively, and less accurately. Our quality of life and our happiness take a hit. We become far less magnetic to our good. And, we become more lethargic and apathetic.

Hmm??? Calling someone a troll seems to turn us into one ourselves.
